Situated in an idyllic setting with a spectacular view over the village of Usurbil and only 10 minutes from San Sebastian, we find the recording studios HiGain. Professional AV facilities with a fine selection of analog devices, large recording room,  control room and a rest area for artists and visitors.

The recording room with a volume of 180m3 and a natural light entering through a window on each side of the room has been conceived and designed to be a multipurpose space, that will allow the recording of voices to a whole rock band. The hall is equipped with various reflectors and MLS diffusers strategically placed, that together with the diffusive ceiling leaves very natural and diffuse energy decay. This results in a lively and controlled sound to add depth in any recording. For the recording of instruments requiring a more neutral space,  HiGain studios have also a series of mobile absorbent modules that add features and versatility to the recording environment.

The control room has two large windows that flood the room with natural light throughout the day, making the workplace a pleasant and warm. Through the front window from the mix point, the technician has an almost complete view of the recording room. The back of the control includes a high frequency QRD diffuser nested within a mid frequency QRD, obtaining a range of work that begins above 200Hz. The room also has a 2.1 sound system with Genelec 1031 and a Genelec 7070 sub, which allows a very linear frequency response across the spectrum.
