Luna Nueva

After five hard working years, the recording studio and label Luna Nueva is moving to the new facilities located in Torrero district (Zaragoza). Luna Nueva new installations boasts 200m2 and it includes two recording rooms, one control room for stereo and 5.1 mixes, a multipurpose room for class and events, and some lounge areas for musicians and visits.

The live room, with a surface of 50m2, has been designed to allow the recording of a full rock band, due to its liveness and natural flavor coming from the diffusive surfaces of the room. A second recording "dry" room of 20m2 creates a triangle of visual lines between the main live room and the control room, allowing a full range of different configurations when tracking. The control room, designed for both mixing stereo and 5.1, is based on an approximated volume of 100m3, and it includes a Genelec 1037 stereo main system, flush mounted through a multi-layer system to minimize cabinet diffraction and back wall cancellations in the low end. The final result is a nice environment with great acoustics, leaded by the best technicians of the city.
