The sound control incorporates two floor-length side viewers, which allow a complete view of the Ko_Lore room and the studio entrance. On the front, the viewfinder that we find gives a panoramic view of the main recording room. Prepared for stereo reproduction, the room incorporates a large high-frequency QRD diffuser nested within a low-frequency one, providing operation from 100Hz to over 7000Hz, and giving the room a very characteristic liveliness.
The Ko_Lore room is an inspiration-generating recording space. The vividness of its colors, the infinite combinations in its lighting, and the direct vision with the sound control and the main recording room, are just some of the great virtues that will make any musician an unsurpassed recording session.
The main recording room, with a volume of 300m3, is ideal for recording entire groups, both for its space and its acoustics. The room has several diffusers on its walls with various angles giving a scaly effect, to create a uniform diffuse field in the recording area. The gabled roof marked by the physiognomy of the “baserri” where it is located, incorporates an acoustic clam that at the time is an immense plenum for reducing the speed of the room’s air conditioning. In the center of the ceiling we find a hybrid between luminaire and acoustic diffuser, designed from pieces of wood with different inclinations.
